On behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and personally, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the overwhelming response received for the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA), scheduled to take place from January 31st to February 2nd, 2025, at the State-of-the-Art Yashobhoomi India International Convention & Expo Centre in New Delhi.

Building upon the extraordinary success of the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) in 2022 and the Global Professional Accountants Convention (GloPAC) in 2023, WOFA promises to be an unparalleled gathering of accounting and finance professionals from around the globe.

The WOFA transcends a typical gathering of accounting and finance professionals. It's a landmark event celebrating the accountancy profession's vital role in fostering robust and stable economies worldwide. The forum serves as a powerful platform to cultivate a dynamic ecosystem for accounting professionals, facilitate international commerce, and share invaluable insights on pressing issues and challenges being faced by the profession. This prestigious event will attract more than 8,000 delegates and dignitaries from around the world.

Due to an overwhelming response and exceeding the venue's physical capacity, we have closed in-person registrations for the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA). Recognizing that some members may be unable to attend in person due to various reasons, the ICAI has decided to host WOFA in a hybrid format. This allows delegates to register for virtual access and enjoy the benefits of the forum remotely.

We are delighted to announce that all plenary hall sessions will be live-streamed for the benefit of all registered members.

This virtual access will enable you to:

• Experience the key presentations and discussions from the comfort of your location.
• Gain valuable insights from renowned speakers and industry experts.
• Engage with the global accounting community virtually.

The last date for registration is January 31, 2025 till 10:00 am. CPE Hours for this event are 12. (A maximum 4 Virtual Structured CPE hours would be given to those participants who have not obtained the overall credit of 4 Structured CPE hours in calendar year 2025, i.e. members who have already earned 4 or less Structured CPE hours in online mode (through DLH) in Calendar year 2025 will get credit on actual basis subject to maximum of 4 Structured CPE hours for the Calendar year 2025. Remaining CPE hours in virtual mode would be counted as Unstructured Learnings.)
